We came home early from camping on the 21st because my doggie was having too many problems and stopped walking and eating so we wanted to take her to the vet.
I had a good time out there because I got to spend time with my boyfriend (is there something better I can call him than just boyfriend? We're not technically engaged yet), anyway I had a good time with him and it was my favorite trip because he was there.
It was also the worst trip because hardly anyone could/would go this year, it gets smaller and smaller every year. Only my Uncle Kenty, my Funcle Bob and my Aunt Teresa came out from the family this time. So that's why I was able to invite Dylan to come and Niki invited her boyfriend Daniel to come (although that was a really bad idea). This is Niki's first relationship and she wasn't acting very girlfreind-ish to Daniel, frankly she was just being a bad girlfriend in my opinion. And on the first day of the trip she broke up with him, ON THE FIRST DAY! Now he's stuck with us for a week with no cell phone reception with the family and the girl that broke up with him, pretty bad, what's worse is that she told him that she never loved him, and they've been dating for about 4 months. He started making some impulsive and rash decisions while we were out there, like going on a walk alone without a radio to contact us, we are out in the middle of the woods and mountains with other people camping, someone could not be that nice of a person and hurt him and we would never know or an accident could happen from the huge group of crazy older teens and we would never know...also he wanted to walk up the mountain to chipmunk ridge where you can get spotty cell reception, now that is a 30 minute car drive up there, plus it's all up-hill and he wanted to walk and said he'd be back in 5 hours, he didn't even know where it was! This was his first time up, he doesn't know the area like we do, he could get lost! Plus he was going to go to the wrong place anyway because the person running the general store up there told him the wrong place. He also had several emotional breakdowns a day as well, Niki just seemed indifferent to the whole situation.
When my Aunt Teresa and Funcle Bob got there on the second day we helped them unpack and set up there tent because my mom and dad had to drive all the way back to town, which is a 2 hour drive, to fix the propane tank because we use it for the stove and my mom really wanted to use the stove during the week. Anyway, they forgot there tent poles somewhere, probably lost when they moved houses, and we had to rig it up redneck style. (Go to the bottom for photos). So Dylan and I worked on it for about 40 minutes before we all called it goodnuff. And when my parents got back they had to go try and one-up us and make it better, we didn't have access to the things they used so we couldn't do a better job than what we did. We had to widdle sticks into tent steaks to keep the tent down and we wanted more rope. But they got the rope and could reach higher and had a step stool and they used clothes pins on the inside to clip the ceiling to the ropes to keep it up xDD I did not get pictures of their rope web setup because it wasn't much different from ours only it looked more like a tent. They worked on it for another 40 minutes.
I started sketching a map for part of my pixel horror game I'm making now~ I'll be uploading some WIPs over time~ I bought RPG Maker VX Ace and Niki and Daniel can help me learn how to use it ^^ I made a pretty good high school layout~ I am proud of it, now the hard part is doing it in the rpg maker xDD
We didn't catch any fish this time :I probably should have tried to wake up in the early morning to go, but I couldn't do it >.< also my mom wanted to test her fly fishing skillz but forgot her flies at the camp and her and my uncle kenty drove around to the other side of the lake to try to fish over there so my aunt teresa and funcle bob ended up driving it over to them and hanging out over there.
Also super funny coincidence o3o Daniel's and Dylan's mom are both named Teresa except daniel's is with an H.
Hahahaa also someone left us a stack of playboy magazines when we got to the campsite xDD we put them in the men's bathroom as a surprise for my uncles xDD until some of the older teens started using our bathroom a lot....then we took them out and put them in my tent, dylan's mom collects them I guess lol she's funny that way so he took them home, and no it's not a cover up haha. We looked through them and I discovered that people really DO buy them for the articles, that's like all that's in a playboy besides like 5 nudes pics and some raunchy comics and jokes and the other half is ads. Lol, and no one else believed us xD and they didn't want to look at them xD funny funny, so you can tell who hasn't read a playboy by if they think it's all porn, sex/nude pictures in there, the pictures weren't even bad, more like stimulates or artistic nude than porn, I didn't find them pornographic at all, but I am an artist that understands the difference and can see the art in a nude photo.
While we were leaving my uncle kent ran the side of his truck into a stump and got stuck, my dad had to chainsaw it down and then he used the claw side of a hammer to tear the rest apart. And our expedition's battery died twice and we had to jump it.
So slowly over the camping trip my doggie Jeager was getting worse with we don't know what, she was a 10 year old rottweiler which is about their normal lifespan, most only live to 7 or 8. The one we had before, k'ehleyr (yes from star treck), only lived to 5 because she got cancer. And my uncle kent's Luna lived to 14 which was amazing. Anyway, on the 20th, Saturday, she stopped walking and eating so we had to carry her in a sling to where we were gathering during different times of the day so she cold be with us and not try to walk there. When we got back to home town we tried to get her into the vet, but they were full and couldn't take her till the next morning so we had to wait. She passed away that night. My family took her to a crematorium and we are going to spread her ashes in our backyard, most of it going next to a little peephole in our fence looking into our neighbor's yard xD She would always look through it and wine at out neighbors, such a cutie, she just wanted to go over and play with their little dog all the time.
And I bought Civ 5 to play with Dylan and his friends on steam so if anyone has a steam account add me and we can play some games or chat ^^ I have my user on my profile under my ID

So Dylan also had a string of extremely bad luck. His family just got slapped with so many fines and they already have no money so his mom is sending him to Hawaii to live with his dad because his car got towed and they can't afford to get it back let alone get it fixed to drive it up to oregon which is where she is going and he can't go with her without a car because everything is too far away and no public transportation, at least in Hawaii everything is close and they have buses. He's going to stay there until I graduate which I remind you is December of 2014. I'm going to save my monies for visits during my breaks. He's supposed to leave sometime in August we think, but they have to buy the ticket first and they are always expensive but the thing is that he is running out of money to feed himself...I think I'm gonna give him some of the left over food we have from camping so he has something to eat that's not fast food and buy his food while I'm over, but I only has $30 left ;~; and that's not going to last long.
Dylan also seems to think that bad luck follows him and that the stuff from camping happened because he was there, I mean not really], he just said "see I told you I have bad luck", even though nothing bad happened to him, just around him. It does seem to be true, he does hit a lot of bad luck. I just think it's a prime example of life views though. I have a very positive outlook on life and my future and lots of good things happen to me and I get very very lucky, not like winning the lottery lucky, but things that actually matter, and I am a very happy person generally. Dylan on the other hand doesn't really put his hopes into things because he doesn't want to be sad when it doesn't happen, he keeps his expectation bar very low, so low in fact that when bad things happen he is already expecting them and just accepts that bad things follow him around and he's not generally a happy person, yes he can be happy and he's happy with me, that's all I really ask for from him, as long as we are together and we are happy that all I care about. Anyway because he expects bad things to happen they happen. Life is a psychological things, if you can get over that slump and just be a happy person and let the littlest things make you smile good things will happen to you and you will be happier for it, mainly because a lot of little good things can happen and you notice them instead of not because you are sad and can't be bothered by the little good things, you just want that big happy thing to come along, but a lot of little can really add up if you let them. This is really how I live my life and I try to explain it to people, but they never understand and think they can't do it. Changing how you think and see the world is really difficult, but not impossible, I was always half there my whole life anyway, that's how it was easier for me to see how I see now. I promise you though, it's worth it, changing your outlook on life to have that little skip in your step, sparkle in your eyes and the smile on your face, once you can see all of the wonderfulness around you and be happy then good things WILL follow. And never loose your hope in things, my life is built on the hope I have for my future and now I have the will power to make it happen.
The lantern universe really got that one right, the green and blue really do amplify each other. Sorry ^^;; my nerd is showing~~ ;3

Thanks, I hope next year will be a better camping trip because it might be my last, kinda not sure where I'm gonna be after 2014 is over, hopefully well enough were I can visit and go again
