I know I don't normally write journals too often, maybe something I should change in the future. Today's events warrant a journal to commemorate today's occasion.

My Love took me to Belle Isle on the James River to walk around the park. It was rather hot and sticky, but not as hot as it had been. We settled by the river and he ushered me over to a flat rock by the river. He waited till sunset and got down on one knee told me that he wanted to spend forever with me, and he asked me to marry him. Of course I said Yes, and he put a ring on my paw. I tell him I think I can signal planes with this thing!

Either way, with him, I am happy. I have never felt so at peace and comfortable with another person. He accepts me for who I am fully, encourages me, and cuddle-snuggles me, which I love. I love you my sweet
