Hi, everybody! Eli here, wanting to invite you all to a fun little game.
Considering my sudden "interest" in Pacific Rim, I have decided to let you, my watchers, interview one of my Rangers!
Taking the chair today, is none other than star Ranger- Takashi Inaba!
Takashi: *Nods his head at the table he sits at, garbed in full Drivesuit and drivehelmet on the table* I am available for all questions.
And yes, ladies, he's single!
Takashi: ... I hate you.

Ok question.... WHAT is with the dual drive system on the jaeger? why not go with a solo pilot? I mean If one of you goes down the whole system is done right?

Takashi: Not entirely. There some instances of a Jaeger being piloted by one Ranger. It is for a short period, however. THe reason for the dual drive, is... let me put it this way- your brain can control your body at the size it is. Imagine having to not only propel that body, but a body so much larger at the same time. The mental strain is too great. Even in the Earlier Mark 1's, one pilot was just not suitable. You'd kill more Rangers that way.

Mirage jumps in: Then why did yat.... ::Yatta x79 shuts him up they begin to fight until Heather comes over and shuts X79 off:: AS I was saying... X79 pulled out the dual drive for a solo drive for the Dyna frames in the year 2250. After a SEVERE upgrade in the system dynamics mind you. Would you still recommend something for that in something say... half as big?
