A'ight. And how many of those ribbons do you see around town? how many times has your local boyscout trope come to try and raise prostate cancer awareness? Right off the top of your head - which month is national prostate cancer month?

The point is not that it doesn't exist, but that it isn't as feverishly focused upon.

Personally i don't think its a very big deal anyway.
From what i have heard the blue ribbon was created as a reaction by butt hurt men to the pink ribbon.

I still don't see why you had to inject gender into it in the first place, anyway, cause my original point still stands you know. Guys do get breast cancer and it's just as important to be aware of as things like prostate cancer, and you should get checked for that when you go to the doctor based on your predisposition to those things (biologically that does differ by gender, but at the same time, it is beneficial to increase awareness either way). Frenzee gets it. It's not a big deal either way, and trying to create a disingenuous gender conflict outta it is much ado about nothing :T

Like XeNoX said, there's enough other cancers no one gives a bloody shit about. I support it *quietly* but that's because I have two family members who've gotten it... but you know what? It didn't matter that either of them were "aware". Both of them got it. Cancer is well known to be a "sneaky" disease. As you said, I think overall, especially the fanaticism surrounding it (and the whole "you suck if you don't agree"), is retarded.

Jag har det som policy att aldrig skämta om cancer efter som att alla som har dött i min släkt har dött av den förbannade skiten....inte bröstcancer dock...och med tanke på hur små mina tuttar är så blir jag chockad om cancern lyckas bosätta sig där utan att jag märker det på sturt! LOL! ....men yeah...cancer är cancer. Elakt sätt att dö som jag inte önskar drabba någon, man eller kvinna. Det som är sugigt är att killar inte får lika mycket information/stöd för "sin cancer" och hela den här macho grejen som försvårar för dem att söka vård...Hur många killar dör i onödan för att dom fått lära sig från barnsben att "Gnäll inte som en kärring, var en man!"......heh...bättre att gnälla som en kärring över en knöl innan- och kanske få det åtgärdat....än att ligga där och gnälla av smärta sedan när cancern äter upp en, ett organ i taget.

Alltså nej cancer är inte kul.
Min poäng är helt enkelt att "BREAST CANCER AWERNESS RIBBON" är jävligt töntigt och dumt och framförallt en jobbig fad på FA just nu.
Om man nu verkligen bryr sig så är det väl cancer generellt man ska koncentrera sig på?
