A Word on the Next Story

Currently closed for story commissions! See this journal for details if you want to look anyway.
So my first attempt at commissions has been going pretty well so far, barring a few roadblocks I've managed to find my way around (Still open for those, by the way, in case any of you fine people were still interested ).
But the next story that I'm going to post isn't exactly a commission. A friendly chap over on SoFurry wanted to pay me simply to move the next story in the I Love You Twice series ahead on the schedule, so I'm doing it now instead of "whenever the mood takes me", which is my usual impetus for starting a chapter. :B
I'm posting this journal for a couple of reasons, first to reassure the people I still have commissions lined up for that I'm not just brushing them off to work on my own stuff, still doing this for a customer, after all, but also to address the fact that I'm not really sure how this particular service is going to work, truth be told.
See, while I'm happy to do it, if people just wanted to pay me to write nothing but ILYT or Eric and Milo all the time, I would probably burn out fairly quickly on those stories. I mean, it's not like I got a whole ton of offers for that service, but still. So I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to handle that going forward. For now, I guess that, like the commissions themselves, I'll have to take it on a case-by-case basis. :P
Hope that was informative, even if it was vague. :B

That said, I find it highly interesting that they chose to commission you for that instead of something involving their own characters or whatever. Granted, this is one of my favorite series, so I'm not exactly complaining. As long as you're up for it and think it will meet your standards, go for it.
And while we're sort of... vaguely... on the topic, I recall you saying you wanted to rewrite the "Kelly's Birthday" chapter because you felt Kelly was acting really out of character and you didn't like it. Any follow-up thoughts on that?
It's a complicated project, is what I'm getting at. Sorry I can't really be more conclusive than that. :P
