Long progress update Pt. 1

Okay I haven't said much about it on here, but over the past month I was very busy with moving, both myself, and my parents/brother/sister, I helped them all move from central Texas, allll the way to Wyoming, which was a huge problem every step of the way, if one of them wasn't sick, it was the other one, if one of them wasn't tired, it was the other one, So we ended up taking a 17 hour drive, which could have been done comfortably in 2 days of driving, into 3 days, which I could still understand, if it wasn't for the fact that after we left the hotel on the first night, we had to stop 50 miles later, less then an hour down the road, at another hotel because my father and brother got sick! So I spent a bunch of time in a hotel during that trip.
Anyway, we get to Denver, CO and the turn comes up, and my father and brother take the wrong one, so me and my mother drive ahead and pull over on the side of the freeway to wait for them, my father, my brother, and myself have CB radios in our vehicles, so the whole time we're sitting there I'm listening to my brother and father give directions to each other about what to do next, until I see them, so I hit the gas to pull back on the road, and my transmission starts acting up! So we drive through all the crazyness of Denver, then finally later get to Wyoming, to the hotel we're staying at, and my brother tells me he didn't change the darn filter he was suppose to change before the trip.
This Suburban has 270,000 miles on it, you do not forget it's maintenance! On top of that my family moved to Wyoming so my brother could go to Wyotech, you'd think he'd be more responsible about a car. Anyway, stay in the hotel for a week, my hoof is hurting, have some weird swollen thing on the bottom to busy to do anything about it, we unload the truck and trailer into a storage facility, my father breaks 3 ribs while doing it, doctors say just be careful till they heal and give him medicine. They get their nice new big house and get everything moved into it, and I have to wait, with my suburban acting up, for 2 weeks waiting for him to replace the damn filter, which I had to buy a new one because he lost the old one! He finally drops it, and guess what? Fucking metal shavings in the pan, so I have him put the new one in, replace the oil, and put in some Lucas Stop-Slip, it aint gonna help much, but Lucas is very reliable. Anyway, get that done and fixed, transmission still acts up, but it doesn't slip as much anymore, it's still going to go out soon enough, and when it does I'm going to make him replace the darn thing,
But now that that was all fixed, I packed all my stuff up into my Suburban, and I set my sights on Des Moines, Iowa, my old home of 6 years, and 13 hours later, I got here, just a couple days ago in fact, For this post I'll leave it there and tomorrow (hopefully) I'll write out the rest of my progress!
