A movie called The Big Blue or Le Grande Bleu. It's about dolphins. I've only seen it once when I was teen, not sure I'll ever watch it again since I don't much like being made to cry. :P Only other thing to ever make me cry openly was Wolf's Rain but that's a series. :3 The dog movie Hachi came close for a more "generic" sad movie, though, but they were trying real hard to be tear-jerking there. X3
