Straight to DVD movie is in preliminary development. I know because I was just working at the studio that was doing some of the demo material. It may not make it into full production but cross your fingers.
The plot seems to revolve around the Ultramarines and forces of Chaos. But aside from that I haven't seen much. Very prelim stuff.
So yeah, feel free to speculate :)

The movie was based off of the Blood Quest graphic novel (I think it was going to be the prequal to it), here's the trailer link:

watch for some of the mistakes, you will laugh so hard when you spot them.
Oddly enough, that looks kinda like the covers they do for the Horus Heresy books.. which allways struck me as.. well.. kinda bad. Allways found it odd that BL gave such an important series such... well... sub par cover art.
Though the new Mechanicus cover looks good.
Thanks for the headsup Mif.
No orks? ;_;
I dont really care, if its Warhammer 40,000, I'm bound to check it out if its avalible localy.
I MUST KNOW THESE THINGS!
:(
Face it Workshop will always put the best foot forward first and Space Marines being so iconic and recognizable, Workshop would be fools not to show them off first to a wider audience.
I'll have to commission more bloodog in space marine armor commissions ._.
Its about time they did something new with the IP. Thanks for the insider tip.
Well, I guess Imma get me mah shovel and mine the interwebs =3 Thanks for the heads up, Maf!
CG then, I take it?
Marines are pretty mandatory since they're the most identifiable as WH40K to those people that are unfamiliar with the property.
