Stressed

General
As a note especially for those thinking of asking about commissions: I will be closing them for a while.
I'll do those that have been queued, but after those I will have a break for an X amount of days/weeks.
I have suddenly developed symptoms on my drawing hand that are pointing towards CTS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) and it's stressing me out. Couldn't happen at a worse time, really. I will need a bit of time to relax and orientate myself and see, if it's actually there or if I'm just imagining it.
As a brighter note: I would like to say a big all capital bold underlined THANK YOU to those who have taken intrest in my work enough to actually pay for it. The generousity has been absolutely shocking, in a good way. I've got myself a good emergency backup in case some sort of financial disaster occurs. I really appreciate the help.
Again: THANK YOU

Enjoy your break, too.
Also, do you happen to have Steam or Skype, if you're up for talking?
It will still always a pleasure to see your work even it take time :]
If I guessed right it's was your first time commission, probably it need you more some practice to adapt yourself to this situation, but as a real commissioner, true I will be so impatient to see the result from your hands, but as a trully commissioner and affionados, I will wait the time it need to see a piece made with fun and passion, whatever the time it need, a work like this worth the time to be wait.
You'll need to train this sensation for sure with more commissions later probably, it just a begenning, but anyway, work that out, mate. Try to stay zen, you have no sword on your neck :] I cross my finger for ya'!
True that it shouldn't become too much of a chore, but it's still a bummer that I can't make them as fast as I'd like to. Well, gotta hope that other commissioners share your trait of patience.
Thank you for the opinion and calming words.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is often a misdiagnosis.
Thoracic Outlet Syndrome is a physical issue, but because it's your brain that controls muscles, your mind always plays a role.
Posture and ergonomics are important too.
Another thing to consider is Tension Myositis Syndrome. It is more directly mind-related. I think Onta was happy to find help with his backpain in that. Check out http://www.amazon.com/MindBody-Work...../dp/1929997051
Most important of all: Respect what your body is telling you. No amount of feeling of obligation is worth losing your health.
Still, the lined up commissions would stress me much further if I leave them hanging for too long. Just gotta work on them a bit slower and have more breaks.
Really appreciate your insight on this, thank you.
