There's a reason why sometimes it's best to just ignore something that bothers you. Depending on the individual or situation, especially if it involves criticizing someone's work or art, it could be seen as an aggressive confrontation. The worst thing you can do when you get some that riled up accidentally is to address it.

Though in my case, the individual I was criticizing, also through one of his militant fans, only further proved my negative opinion of his personality. His art is a decent quality most of the time, and some of it is sexy, though quite repetitive, but he himself is quite the prude and a bit stuck-up; I've seen him act this way towards other people a bit, too. It's weird, considering he draws burly male pornography.

It could just be that we don't click, and I'm sorry I even let it get to the point of comment wars, but I don't think I'm going to bother with him anymore or his shippers. I was curious about his latest project that some people brought up in their journals, made some criticisms, and of course, was jumped on as a result.
