*ahem* Now that I have your attention...tell me all about them! In the story I'm working on, the main character will be a lion, as well as many other sub characters. However, I've always been such a predominant fan of canines that my knowledge of felines just...isn't as good as I need it to be for this story.

So PLEASE! Tell me about lions! What are they like? What do they act like? How do they mate? What do they eat? ANYTHING AT ALL! Even if it sounds silly and unimportant, tell me anyway! I'd like to have as much knowledge about lions as I can before I begin writing. I'm already doing my own online research (google and wiki etc.) but I'd like some info from my fellow furs as well.
