Buy Stoli!

The one thing I do hate about faggots, and young counterculture people in general is how they're retardedly manipulable while also being so vocally against "the mainstream".
Russia and Putin have passed very stringently anti-gay laws. To the level where people can be jailed just for telling others they're gay if children can view the process (read: everywhere). No one has really made a strong calling for a boycott of the olympics, but Dan Savage has called for a boycott of Russian vodka (namely Stoli and Russian Standard).
Well, when Dan fucking Savage says 'Rim', fags say 'How deep?', mildly muffled by his rectum while asking such. I've moved him from the okay Savage tier (also occupied by Macho Man Randy Savage) to the shit Savage tier for this (with a lovely neighbor of Micheal Savage)*.
While I understand his reasoning, and the urge to force soveirgn nations to do as we feel via boycott is strong among young people in America, this is a bad policy. Firstly, Russia doesn't directly make either vodka, and they make PLENTY of other products. If anything, boycotting the Olympics would be a much more effective message. Then, Russia doesn't exactly have a history of sparkling gay rights. The new law really doesn't do anything but legalize what cops there have been doing anyway. Third, Human Rights violations rarely stop us from buying all products of a nation. Wanna doubt me? How do you feel about China's treatment of it's labor force? Or of Buddhist monks? Okay, so then where are your powerstrips or squiggly light-bulbs made?
Most obvious though, is that Stoli is not brewed in Russia. It's brewed in Latvia. That's like boycotting America by not listening to Rush or Nickelback**. This is not even addressing that Stoli has FOUGHT FOR GAY RIGHTS, as outlined on the first page of their website...

So fuck you Dan Savage. Last night I went out and bought some Stoli. Vanilla flavor, because I support good vodka, I support gays internationally, but I don't support feel-good campaigns by whiners.
*In case you're wondering, the Awesome-tier Savages are Savage Arms and Adam Savage.
**BOTH ARE CANADIAN
Edit: Also after this whole Snowden thing, our creditability as a moral authority in the area of government abuse has slipped, and Russia offered him asylum. Not a good position to launch a civil rights campaign for another nation from.
Edit^2: No really, fuck you Dan Savage...

The Iraq War is a perfect example.
It should be noted though, that government understands what a revolution is, and what change is. That's why they send planes and bombs and rifles with soldiers and not a bunch of unwashed hippies with signs.
Thank you. I hope I'm not.
