Why this image was chosen - This is a hall of fame image right away, its been selected into the group's best of the best and I'll tell you why that is. To start off with hall of fame artwork doesn't always have to have stunning colors or a huge amount of photo-realistic detail. In this image the things that make it work are the well integrated anime/furry design features and cartoony look to the characters. Both predator and prey are enjoying the situation immensely by the looks on their faces and that adds a big plus to this image. I love the "boyish" look that the predator has as well as the one eye open, one eye closed. The pred's mouth is a nice looking shape as it climbs up to engulf the shoulders of the prey. A tiny little detail that adds another plus to this picture... the tiny wrinkles around the right side of the mouth and the larger one under it. Then there's the tongue licking up under the prey's belly and chest that makes this even better yet, Then we get down to the most important detail in the image that really made me like it, that very hot looking lump in the predator's neck... wow! I love long necks and the way that Sparky has drawn this one's neck bulge is very nice, very sexy. If I was there I'd love it if that big kitty would pin me against the front of his neck with a collar so I could feel that lump come down against me. There I would feel the movements of the predator's throat through his neck as it rubbed against me while I rode on the front of that uber hot neck bulge! This image is outstanding in composition and it makes me think to myself that I would gladly trade places with the prey to be eaten by such a cute sexy kitty.
