So there's this guy named Edward Snowden, this is the guy who was responsible for leaking the PRISM program and showed us that the US Government is spying on us.

In fact he proved that all the paranoid people were true about the US Gov, NSA, FBI and other NATO-member's national intelligence bureau's.
Before Snowden, those sayings were only theoretical things, not proven.
