Great but Scary news

my bunny and i are getting an apartment! we paid the down payment and we are working on packing stuff up now. september 5th we are going in to paint and the 6th we are going to take messurements and plan then we are moving in a day later! i am so excited.. nauseatingly excited.. this is a big step and i am so happy that i am freaking out, but yet i am ok. i am going to need to get a job when i get there, but i really want to learn more about digital coloring and Dave, if you are still there, i would really like to further my training after my cusin's wedding in september. i am making a big acrylic painting for them and i am running low on time...
in other news, my baby and her mom are now gone. they told me that i didnt need them anymore and they kissed me. in those kisses i felt.. i dont know... energized and happy.. and at the same time i was scared. it was like loosing a piece of myself, but i also am really happy that they are at rest.
weird they told me they had to leave and that i was going to start a life for myself days before my bunny and i got our apartment... i dont believe in coincidence anymore... this happened the way it happened because i think i am ready now. like completing a puzzle i think it just fell into place when it counted.
i am so happy and scared, but excited and nervous.. i am not sure what i am feeling, but i am sure i can make it something good.. i am sure :)

no worries. i don't know what kind of advice to give, so just ask questions
i guess i was wondering the basics behind colors in shadow.. by reflective light sources not secondary light sources. how do i decide on the appropriate colors to use for this light source, and how do i illuminate a portion of the pic enough to show what is there but keep it seperate from the light source. i know the basics but i dont know as much how to decide on those types of light.
the reflective highlight, is the same colour as the HL, just not as bright =)
how do you decide the color within shadows? i mean look at your icon.. your furry cuteness doesnt have any true darks though it does have shadows, merely highlighted in another color. is there a method for that? or do i just choose that color randomly?
