The middle E key on my keyboard is back working...

I don't know why it stopped... I took apart that old synth and looked at the keyboard.. figured one of the rubber contacts that touch the circuit board. might have been bad...
But its back working so that old keyboard ain't ready to give up just yet. Gonna try and submit more music while its still working got something that needed finishing for someone .

I am convinced that electronic devices stop working just so that you'll pay attention to it. Presumably repair-attempts makes computers and and synths feel wanted...

Somehow I thinks it knows its old and doesn't want to be replaced by something new I've been looking at for a long time. Heh it wouldn't be I'd still use it to access the sounds from it.
Good to hear. I know things like the broken red colored pencil.. the misplaced page 3.. that missing E key.. they can all be annoying hindrances to an artist.

Yep for some reason I felt like I couldn't finish anything.. or work around that.. But I kept working on stuff in the meantime... so now its a plus that's its back

That's why I have more than one keyboard. Something like that would make me very frustrated.

Yeah I hear ya.. This synth is my first and probably my last that I'll ever own.. Now that Reason supports Midi out I can record my synth if need be. I am still looking at a midi controller for my program and I can use my old K3 as a sound module. One of these days I might make a track that has nothing but the sounds from my K3.
