So I got a job! It's not a job in the field I have my degree in, but it is a steady paycheck. So what if I'm a college graduate working retail? It pays the bills that are in dire need of being paid.

What this means for all of you out there is that if you want a commission, you're going to need to be patient. Please don't let that stop you, though! Commissions are great in that they help me keep my art flow going with new ideas, characters, poses, etc.

I get to draw a possum chick for  alexanderkatz. And the commission I just finished for  sumatrae gave me an idea for a piece with an elephant in it. I mean how awesome is that? You know you want to see more possums and elephants on FA. You know you do.

So tell you what. If you commission a full color piece with a background that exhibits a species that is rare within the fandom, you'll get the background free. That's right, fuzzbutts.
