Apparently #2 is about how wolves celebrate the holiday spirit of christmas, since wild animals are also familiar with it.

Following this pattern, the third one will involve them becoming seperated for some reason, and then at the end getting back together thus resolving the story and returning to the status quo.

Who's writing these things, it's like they didn't care. Or maybe, worst case scenario, they did care but management decided to make "changes", and that writer is now dying inside. I really really hope it's the first option.

I wish there was such a thing as a good wolf movie. But, alas.....it will most likely never happen.

Well I considered it good, was one of my favorite childhood movies. And for books, White Fang, and The Call of the Wild by Jack London, one involving a wolf capable of domestication, and the other about a dog capable of embracing ferality and joining a Wolf pack.

I've read a good wolf centered fantasy based wolf book. I enjoyed it a lot, but it doesn't seem too known or popular.

Hollywood murders art on a regular bases. Making a second Omega being one point. sure the movie didn't have Oscars written all over it but I enjoyed it. And the American Remake of Girl With a Dragon Tattoo, is actually frustrating for me to watch it's like they watched the Swedish one (Which was closer to the book) and said "Okay we'll change this, and this, and that, and this." and sadly the only way to make money in Hollywood now as a Creator/Writer is with trilogies and sequels and Hollywood isn't all big buck and wads of cash. When you first starts Acting/Writing you will be riding a bike to work, and living off of Naan bread and Coke until you make a big break which is later in your Career and Average Actor/Actress and Writer Directer only see 35-25% of their Pay check because after companies, talent agents, producers, and Regular Taxes take a chunk there is only rage and bones left. So This is just happening because the Story Creator and Writer are running out of Naan bread and Coke. Still a shame Sequels suck.

Sometimes Hollywood does good. I think one of my favorite remakes was The Ring. I thought, and still think, it's a legitimately good remake. The story is different, but it still retains the horror aspect without cheesing it up. This is coming from someone who enjoys the original one a lot. However, The Ring 2 was shit. Well, I enjoyed it for what it was, but it was obvious they were just trying to cash in from the first movie.

And that's all Sequels are they are money grabs unless you look for Independent films or European films the average consumer or film fan gets the screw driver in the eye when it comes to trilogies and sequels it's very hit and miss. and I loved the Ring too, the second one not so much but I didn't rip it apart because I have respect for film and the shit people go through to entertain us. And Horrors never use to sell producers use to stay away because they would rather have their name on an Oscar winning or emmy winning film then makes millions of dollars. but since the Saw franchise that has changed. The first Saw film was supposed to be the one and only Saw film and it was a Australian/American Indie horror film. James Wan and Leigh Whannell only wrote and produced after the first saw up until the third one. Movies now are hit and miss. But now seeing how Horror B-Movies bring in a crowd like Paranormal Activity, Insidious, and Saw it's what's being Produced to shit. with Trilogies and Sequels and what ever the hell Paranormal Activity pulled.

it's just this movie was... pretty bad and it's a telling sign about how homogeneous and one-note some animated movies are today (personally i blame dreamworks for the whole snarky eyebrows, pop culture references formula that everyone seems to be copying)

you really can't compare something like Lion King or Toy Story to these kinds of movies and say there only good because we all have rose-tinted nostalgia goggles, have you seen the Rotten Tomato rating on this movie?

I don't follow ratings/reviewers, because they are filled with so much bias that it makes me throw up everytime someone mentions them. If i enjoy a movie, i enjoyed it, regardless what one time people I run across say otherwise.

But guess what, we do all those stuff on FA (just not the Hollywood part), and no one complains. I sure don't either. And I can say it, because I just find it funny that a bunch of adults are doing this. Yes, adults make the movies, and they can watch them too, but, it feels werid to see them complain (escappally the ones that say they grew out of animation/these movies)

well....it wasn't a great movie but it wasn't bad enough to make me zap to another channel when I was being a bored couch potato, though I didn't see it complete......anyways why so much hate? we see horrible movies coming out all the time xD
