Parrot Rehab and Sanctuary

So I am going to be calling a local parrot rehab and sanctuary tomorrow to see if they could use a volunteer Monday and Friday while I am down here in FL going through therapy. I love birds, not a lot of experience with parrots but they teach you how to interact with them so I am looking forward to it. They have a ton of posts looking for volunteers everyday so I am pretty confident they'll be able to use me :)

Didn't get to call today, was having a pretty off day- meds made me super dizzy/uncoordinated so I slept a lot of the day and then ran errands this evening. I'll call this week though, if I'm going to do vet tech as a career I want options so avian care will be a huge experience boost for me plus I LOVE birds <3

I didn't know you were thinking of going into the vet tech field; if you ever have questions, you can always poke/call me since I've worked at a few. Are you looking into getting your Vet Tech Certification?

Yep, I'm looking into online programs since I am in FL and we don't know where Nucky will be stationed when he gets out of basic and AIT for the Air Force. I'll definitely poke you every now and then for advice because its a totally new thing for me, I've always loved working with animals but have like zero practical experience :P
