Today Marks the Day I joined the Fandom.

- - - - - - - - - - - - That's right 5 years ago on August 11th 2007 I officially started calling myself a furry, I was completely and utterly new and had no idea what to do, I was a noob, I made many mistakes, made friends loosed some and made some more. I just can't believe it's been all these years, though I was not very active (do to loosing my father a few months after joining the fandom) and I did take several short breaks along the way. - I've been through so many fursonas I'm sure it's hit over 20 now. I just want to find the right fursona for me, you know? but yeah... just thought I'd let you know today happens to be that big day for me, and it may not seem special, but it really is for me. I looked down at the date and remembered, and I sat and thought, thought of the good times and the bad. - and of all the wonderful friends who have helped me become the person I am today, both in the fandom and out of it.<3
I love you All and I hope to have many more years in the fandom to enjoy, I want to be a Grey-Muzzle one day. (If I live that long).<3- - - - - - - - - - - -

Great that you feel this way. I didn't know that I was a furry until some years later from being a Sonic fan. Sure, Sonic's a furry as well... but for me being a furry as well is very special :)
