I got an e-mail from Kilin today. There was a fire at her workplace due to an improperly installed gas line, and she suffered burns on her right hand and left arm. She was hospitalized briefly to treat those, and for smoke inhalation. At this point, I do not know if she still has a job - but it could have been so much worse! She is going back to the Dr. on Wednesday to have her bandages taken off.

UPDATE: According to my last e-mail the back half of her workplace was destroyed in the fire, and will have to be rebuilt - but it will be, and she still has her job. Her burns are painful, but she is coping.
Sadly, she lost her cell phone in the fire. I'd give almost anything to be able to call her right now.
UPDATE 2: Heard from her again today, her hands are still very painful, and it will be a while before she can return to SL. I will keep everyone posted.
UPDATE 3: Got another E-mail from Kilin. She went to the doctor yesterday, and the Doc had to peel a layer of skin off of the back of her hands, so they will heal properly. She said it hurt so much she nearly passed out. Having been burned badly myself, I can sympathize - she is such a brave girl! Please keep her in your prayers.
GOOD NEWS! Kilin is back in my arms! I am happy beyond words! One month to the day since the accident.
