Darn thing hurts all the time anyway, but bumping it a little doesn't do much.

Yeah....so much fun. Right this minute it isnt hurting....which is a welcome change. Most of the time it aches quite a bit. Especially (as you might have guessed) right where the screws go in.

I can bet it's super achey. It must be so weird to see it all the time.

Oddly enough it has ached like a bitch all the time till the doc uncovered it and raised the end towards my elbow up about a quarter inch. Since then it has calmed down a lot and just hurts a little most of the time. I'm in no danger of forgetting about it though, thats for sure. AND I cant use the hand any or it REALLY hurts!

as to seeing it all the time, it's not too bad. I haven't even had a hard time getting used ti putting on a shirt (short sleeve only!) IN 6 more weeks I'LL probably feel weird without it.

I bet bunny can't wait for that! Bunny's poor arm!

The sooner the better, that's for sure! And to top it off I'm sick as a dog and we're having days over 100 degrees for me to lay in bed and suffer. *whine*

Awww... No AC?

I wish!!!! Just fans. One in the bedroom and one in the living room. From about 1230 or 1 pm through 530 or 6 its hot as an oven in here. The fans help some but it still sucks when I'm yoo sick to do anything but lie down mostt of the time.

No. there isn't one, getting one would cost a lot and i dont have enough power out here where i am to run one. id be blowing breakers if i tried.

Yeah, it sucks big time. I still got to wear it a little over 5 weeks more. Eight weeks total! It wouldn't be so bad if I could use my right hannd some, but the way the pins are,flexing my thumb hurts lik a beeyotch. They go right through the middle of the muscle. So that hand is pretty much useless.

The doc says I'll have limited range of motion when all is said and done. So it'll never be back like it was, but I'll just be glad to have a working hand again. Bad as it was and is, it still could have been many times worse, so I just count my blessings about that. ;3
