haha yeah, i always forget they're blocked by ad blockers. i ended up disabling mine so that i could keep finding new artists ;w;

i actually end up clicking a lot of them--i've found some pretty great artists that way!

i like to click on the ads when they strike me and i'll watch good artists, but i've seen a lot of people posting their very best pictures up in the ads and the rest of their art being...lacking lol
i have yet to commission anyone who has had an ad up.

I've had an up up for about 2 or 3 months. I received over 1000 new watchers the first month and a half, before I stopped keeping track. I haven't taken very many commissioners since advertising. I only advertised my page, not my commission slots.

Just like Ajna, thats where I got a lot of my watchers, I recommend them even if it takes dragoneer a while to get back to you. Make sure to ask for a conformation reply because I guess mine was up for a few days without me even knowing. I also recommend advertising your page and not commissions other wise you'll fill up quick and then you get harassed by new comers for being closed temporarily.

Lastly, totally recommend the full year, you save a lot of money that way, you'll save yourself 140 dollars.

I've got adblocker on right now, but before I did, I used to check out the ads constantly! Anytime I saw a new face in the ads, if the art appealed to me at all, I would click through to find new people to watch. I honestly want to get my own FA ad at some point, but that costs MONEY which I am unfortunately lacking in right now.

yeahhh, the money part is kind of the biggest drawback hahaha

i am glad FA has internally powered ads, though! i find a good few artists that way.
