I've kept you guys informed with what's going on for the most part regarding the huge commissions batch of commissions I've taken in January. I'm only 1/3 ish of the way through them. Some of you already sent me notes and emails asking about them and I've replied the best I could and I hope that was ok. Some I've gladly refunded.

All in all basically what it comes down to is that this has been a REALLY weird year for me.

When I took the commissions, I figured this time I would leave the commission list open for people to get on it, that way they have a chance to get a slot where in the past you have to be stupid lucky to get in on my commission. That is honestly what went through in my head. Things were settling down. I was getting into the groove of quiet life back at home in CA after living in NY for almost a decade, but everything changed when my mom's husband passed away in March. It's been a crazy roller coaster ride. I rarely had time to myself for months. When I think things are finally settling down again for me to start tackling the commissions, something else would pop up. It's been like that for months and months now.

So, to commissioners who are still waiting for your work, I'm really sorry and I am trying my best. Please know that the intention of taking that batch of commission came from a good place and not me trying to raise a specific amount of money. All of you honestly have been very patient with me and I very much thank you. I'm not trying to ask for sympathy or pity with this Journal. I honestly just want to let everybody know what's up is all.

For all the commissioners, I know it's been a long time and sometimes people change their mind, so if I haven't started working on your commission yet and you would like to change your commissions or whatever.
