First funeral and might've met an important person! ><

So today was my first funeral. It was for my granfather at Fort logan. He died last monday at the age of 73 after fighting lukemia for 7 years. It was a strange event and very short. apparently they have to do a lot of military funerals (it was only 30 mins). specially vietnam vets (i guess theyre coming to that age) I miss my granpa very much he was the grandparent i was closest too. I'll remember all the times he took me to the thrift store only to bring me home in a poofy dress and tap shoes or rent "spice world" a dozen times in a row. they did the 21 gun salute (tho we counted and it was only 15) hoping to turn one of the bullet shells into something nice. and i got to see my great aunts and uncle that i havnt seen in years. I miss them.
Interstingly enough at the wake at my Uncles house my uncle had me show his friend some of my art and dioramas/ sculpting. He was impressed and might tell his good friend about me. Shockingly enough his friend is Ed from "Distortions" up in greeley. If any of you dont know Distortions it is the place where they film the show "Monster Makers" on the travel chanel. So yea I have fingers crossed and am super excited tofind out if they talk about me (i didnt show it there kinda just too surprised and embaressed) I mightve just jynxed things but i really hope this might be something to lead to a future with Weta New Zealand. I just wish i had more to add to my portfolio :x but im so busy right now.

You have great work, so does Sinead. Who knows, maybe you'll get a chance to show what you guys can do!
Keep me up to date And we need to have a girls day/night when you and Sinead have time We will tell Jake he smells and to go away or put on a dress.
and thank you. yea I'm trying to gather all the memories i have of my grandpa i can so i can go back to them later, like a hamster shoving food in its cheeks for later it helps.
and i really wanted to tell the person about sinead too but my uncle was there and they didnt listen to me when i was mentioning her. i really think my unce hates her. shes been with me a lot this past week and my uncles been acting incredibly cold and rude to her.
I think that's one of the best things you can do :)
That's really upsetting.... I know sinead has been trying hard to be there for you n help out.... Well if you get a chance to talk to that guy maybe you can show him a pic or two of stuff sineads done :)
