Using models made by other people in Poser for your own pictures, does not make you a 3d modeller.
'nuff said. There is a huge difference between being a 3d modeller and making your own assets, and being a guy who uses things he found online and customizes by dragging a couple slider bars or doing a quick recolor in Photoshop.

11? I hate night classes. I'd rather learn when I'm still in a state of shock from getting up too early.
I think the term 3D modeler is open to introspection.
Well I put in a little more effort then that, sometimes doing out-sorced work to get what I need with the details I wanted. But that still does not make me one?
I am actully a student of 3D, and I know that the person I got much of my models from is one too. I use it to get use to the interface and it is very good training. He told me he uses it because he lacked the time to really creat totaly from scratch, tho he does know how.
I'll agree whole heartedly that many of the people out there do nothing with the models but slap cock and balls and tits on them and prance them out, but there are some that painstakenly customise models to the point that only they really could re-creat them.
I it's a matter of view. Tho I agree with you. Never think I don't.
Adding pollies and making them stick to the mesh then re-rigging the models bones to make it work with the added joint is not something just anyone can do.
It;s all in the details.
