80s UK TV and a clockwork mouse

My parents recently got themselves a VHS to DVD converter for rescuing some old tapes, and sent over some programmes I grew up watching in the 80s... even though this is only 30 seconds I think it's my favourite out of the whole collection so far :) It's cute enough as it is, but watch the ending...

I'm very glad, despite things like the trauma of Farthing Wood and so on, that I grew up before this increasing cotton wool age.
(Even then, though, the noise of them had been toned down - if you look at the same room in earlier series, that noise still genuinely gives me chills.)
And gawd, are those ITV schools shows you put on your Youtube? :o
