I don't see how it would be necessary to limit yourself to just seeking other furries. All you need to find is someone tolerant/encouraging of your interests, which includes a lot of non-furries.. And in many cases, they'll even join you!
Yeah true. Nothing wrong with checking out one branch of things though! There are plenty of datable furries. :) Try here, there, everywhere. My partner is not a furry, but tolerates it... not into it, but I can enjoy my hobby on my own.
Considering the personal abuse you're getting for it, it was quite courageous of you to write that article. I wonder if your account here might be at risk too?
The thing bugging me this week, is this damn night owl insomnia that has my schedule completely flipped around... I just roll with it whenever that goes on, but it makes me super cranky and I probably shouldn't reply to anything slightly controversial on the internet meanwhile. Also I'm wondering what is the next fun hobby writing project to tackle?
Some little plecostamus leaving abusive comments is not going to give me a second of worry though, or my hobby accounts. Any shady person who wants to mess around has more to worry about than I do. Dragoneer was actually really cool about taking things in stride after his comments came up on that article. I don't think he should be personally associated with negative things in it. It did not go out flawlessly but I just like to write for a hobby and it's being good to learn from.
And I should clarify (I wrote that very late at night) I don't mean Dragoneer personally, but some of his admins might have personal connections to them and one hears stories about some of them sometimes being a bit overzealous.
Nah. It's OK. I have traded enough personal messages with Dragoneer (and I advertise on this site) so if there was some sort of account issue, I'd go to him about it.
