My Fish Made It Into An Art Show
So I just got back home from a reception.
"What kind of a reception?" I can hear you asking.
Why, an art reception! One of my pieces managed to get into a juried art exhibition at a local gallery. How this is I'm not sure. I thought the other two pieces I submitted where much better. Maybe it's because it's a picture of a carp and as an invasive species they have a habit of getting absolutely everywhere. Not that I'm arguing, of course. The last art show I got into was three years ago. So if you want to see a picture of a fish gulping for air and you just happen to be near Ames, Iowa between now and the 20th of October feel free to drop into the Octagon Center for the Arts. It's on the third floor. In a corner. Oh, and it's for sale. Cheapest one there I noticed.

Always nice to find yourself in an exhibit.
