Heya,

We managed to dodge a pretty big bullet yesterday. I never thought I'd have to use the pregnant and baby cards for something so serious (usually I just pull the pregnant card if I don't want to serve dessert or something trivial like that), but I did and man am I thankful we had those cards to play.

What happened was a friend of my girlfriend's (and sorta me, by proxy, i guess... this person, who I shall call Miss T, is a bit too loud for my tastes, but anyway...) has a 90% chance that she'll have to move. Neither her, nor her fiance, work and they're terrible at budgeting (they're 3 weeks behind in their rent currently and in debt to a friend of mine, whose son I'll be occasionally looking after). Anyway, she stayed the night friday, which is fine. Every now and again is alright, but on saturday they started hinting at wanting to stay on a more long term basis. Both Bunny and I were like nope and Rak when we told him was like nope.

Kinda makes me glad. I know I wouldn't be able to handle not getting some personal space or even time to just bond with Maddy when she's born. I'm not the type of person who handles being around people all the time very well. Boarding school taught me that one.

So yes, bullet dodged. Also, four and a half weeks left til my due date! (I'll do a pregnant update on Wednesday after my mid-wife appointment =) )
