Kindle/Wacom Bamboo Touch and Pen

So. If you should ever be lucky enough to score both a KIndle and a Wacom Bamboo touch and pen, and you need to dock your Kindle to load some books on it. never set the plugged in Kindle on top of the Wacom, even if you just got done drawing and it might be inconvenient to move it.
For some reason, something in the Wacom causes the Kindle to go nuts and mount and unmount itself over and over. Pretty sure I didn't hurt the Kindle, but that can't be good for it...
Not sure if it's just a Linux thing or not, but I'm not gonna move my tablet to my wife's Windoze computer just to test.
