because I can.
Okay well basically the title explains it, but it bothers me so much. My dad is okay with it but also isn't, he just says that gay people are 'weird'. Honestly it doesn't bother me that much since I guess he's neutral about gays, but my mom is the one that REALLY bothers me. She says that gays are sick and think that it's freaking nasty when she sees a gay couple. She says that everyone was meant to be straight, and being in a relationship with your own gender means you should be frowned upon. Now honestly, I really don't think gender matters but my mom is like "Boys are meant to be with girls. Not other boys." and vice versa. My opinion on gays is just leave them alone, let them be together/be in love with their own gender, because there is nothing wrong with it. Some don't even care about gender, they love and are attracted to the personality of the person. No, I am not saying I am gay. I'm just supporting for what they were born with. Another thing that bothers me is that she, along with other people say God hates gays. Okay, since when does God hate ANYONE? God does not hate. Period. He loves every person that is made, no matter what their sexual orientation is/whatever they have done. Also, your sexual orientation is not a choice. It's what you were born to live with. So why do you hate on people for being gay when they did not choose that path? Basically you're partially hating someone for what they were born with. UGH people. This rant about my mom can also go out to those amount of people who are harshly against gays.
Yes though, I am against some gay shippings that include some awesome characters, but when I am, people assume I am against gays. As I said I am completely fine with gays, it's just most gay shippings ruin the characters for me. Then people crowd me with hate because they keep assuming I'm against people being gay. SHUT UP. I'm not. You just ruined the characters for me. -_-;
