What if i wrote stories?

I'm not the best writer, not even subpar really. My vocabulary isn't anything spectacular either but sometimes, when i do a picture, i really like to have a story behind them. Sometimes i can make a good story, well imo, about certain pics i draw.
What if i started doing little stories about the pictures i draw? Would anyone read them? Would anyone critique them? I especially want critique cause if i decide to do something like this i want people to tell me if it blows and what blows about it XD
So yeah, serious question. Do you think i should try to write little stories about my pics and would you read any short stories i would write about my pics (future pics)?

I do have a question though: if you do decide to write stories, will you be open to suggestions of which pictures of yours to write a story about?
