I am going to make a skotter suit some time this year.

Here are my thoughts thus far:

1. It would probably be better and cheaper to start off with a partial. I've already got a tail I like, so I would only need a head and paws. The head is the biggest concern, and the part of the suit I feel like I am least capable of approaching. I could really use some help, especially in person. I would love to learn!

2. I was thinking about a foam and balaclava style head with a static jaw, to keep things simple.

3. I have absolutely no idea what kind of fur would be good for this. Do any of you out there who've made suits have any advice?

I'm not gonna rush this along, and I want to do it right the first time. I've been itching to do this for quite some time now, and now that I have enough funds and my own place... It's time!
