Usually scammer yes but there have been many times where enough of this built up and then someone who knew them is just like 'woah they died man'

I doubt it. last time that user faved something was on the 25th this month. so I would lean toward that being unlikely. problem is that person may no never use that account again so they don't need to pay up.
usually if someone dies there is someone that knows the person that usually will inform others about it.

Got banned for making a call out journal, even though it had a lot of compelling evidence against a notorious art thief.

That really sucks... because the journal helps other people to see it and so they don't fall to the same mistake.

I recommend warning the person you're reporting them to artist beware and then posting an a_b there. Or contacting a mod and asking them what are your options.

from there you can post a warning for other people to avoid this commissioner and often times it draws the culprit out to fix their problems otherwise their name is forever blacklisted in the community.

I also recommend taking partial payments or full payments up front from now on unless they've been a repeat customer and you trust them 100%
