I picked a wolfdog because I find they're like me-- they don't make very good pets and they can be a little kooky sometimes. WB is a low-content wolfdog because I feel that makes her more humble and less flashy. I picked her colors based on what I like (I dig monochrome) and my real eye color (my eyes are hazel, but I made her other eye blue to fit with the husky scheme). I put vestigial wings on her because I used to have a pilot license... but that was a long time ago and I can't fly anymore. She doesn't really have a character backstory, she's just me drawn differently. Whatever has happened to me IRL is what has happened to her.

I also have characters that are either just plain cute, ones I find sexy, ones that are an excuse to pretend to be something I'm not, a representation of what I'd like to be but cannot... all sorts of things :3

Welp at first I was simply a catgirl (a black house cat) nothing special, then I learned that people had a full "furry" characters, so I thought to myself I love cats but I want to be a big cat so I thought that white tigers were "unique" and beautiful and I came up with her in 2008 till 2012/13. And throughout that time she kinda evolved to have more distinct markings and her hair changed with mine in real life. Then in December and January I was going to a tough time; my stepdad was in and out of the hospital and during that time I evolved her into a gryphon (which i am now) because i wanted to escape the pain i have been through and he has been through and unfortunately he lost his life this year. And she doesn't have a backstory she is literally me, from my height to my eye color.

Oh no, it's all fine! I loved hearing about it! I'm sorry to hear about your stepdad, I lost my PawPaw (grandfather) a few months before I graduated in 2010. I love seeing people's characters grow and change, and how they were created!! Thanks for telling me!

I'd been on FA for over a year and realized I had no fursona! So, I was determined to create something unique. I thought...I'm a Star Wars fan, so I should go that route. The first creature I thought of was the Wookiee. But I thought; "I can't be a wookiee! I'm too short!"

Then I jokingly figured I could be a pygmy wookiee. But the idea had merit. So I created a species of pygmy wookiees called the "Wookiee-Yook".
