Shocked.

I don't even know what to think anymore. Today has probably been the worst day I've had in a long time. My family and I were heading to the cape to do a weekend of boating and relaxing, and while we were backing the boat down the ramp the safety winch strap became dislodged when we went over the hump of the ramp, and the boat slid off if the trailer and onto the ramp. I don't think there is a worse sound than 26 feet of fiberglass and aluminum sliding 15 feet down concrete. This has basically ruined any plans of boating for the rest of the season. And potentially cost us thousands of dollars for repairs.
So far the damage total is at 1 destroyed trim tab, an inch of the keel scraped away, bottom paint damage, lower out drive damage and oil leaks, and whatever unknown structural damage there is due to the fall, and prop damage. I just, ugh.
