Commission/General Update: Aug 30 - 'Lectric Boogaboo

Hokay, so still laying out the rest of the current lineup for quick procession with the newish painting system that I have goin on lately. Sliiight delay due to moving to Alameda and the hecticness that comes with Fresh Apartment Smell™, but should be done with the layouts by Monday; sorry about that, guys!
The comics are continuing to be laid out as well, and should start posting those by the end of next week throughout the month, so everything's going smoothly, which makes me really friggin happy lol
Future commission stuff; tentatively wanna say that I'll open back up on the 15th of September or abouts, if anybody's interested. Think I'm settling into a groove and more confident with what I can do, as well as ironing out prices and whatnot that are fair for what I produce and what can be generally afforded. I also have a few ideas that I wanna try out, so hopefully they'll kick off well enough when I drop the deal even though I'm keepin mum about what it is lol
Also gunning for a new high-end computer to push studies on 3D modeling and animation since my current computer's slowly starting to shut itself down like the poor animatronic Guardians of the Beam. Still looking for the perfect build for what I wanna do so I can know what to aim for monetary-wise, so sorta goin all-out lol
Also; awesome neighbors, area, free gym and pool. Things are alright! I wanna grill. I WANNA FRIGGIN GRILL!
lol You guys have a great weekend and enjoy the dogs days cuz the heat doesn't seem to be goin away for quite a while!

I'll keep an eye out for your commission slots. I'm already potentially interested.
TRUST YOUR TECHNO-LUST!!!!!
FEED THAT NEW COMPUTER DREAM.
Get a mobo that supports dual socketed processors.
LIKE THIS
This bad boy will fit TWO multi-core processors, Moreover, while Intel Xeon are still kinda pricey. They will last and last and LAST. And that's what you need for rendering and intensive 3d-stuffs.
That and a double-redundant raid of solid-state processors, large fans with filter covers, lots of high-speed RAM, and Crossfire graphics cards that allow for massively parallel calculations.
Forward-thinking, that should prove to be a pretty decent mobo for most one-man things. Up to and not excluding 3d animation.
Liquid cooling rigs for your processors, hard-drives, and ram will make a HUGE difference to performance while it's overclocking and running hours on end. Also, there's a bajillion apps and utilities for overclocking those Xeons and milking them for ever teraflop they're worth. As well as designating specific cores for dedicated tasks, and also....
Liquid cooling also helps guarantee that you won't be spending hours every week unclogging the dust bunnies you never knew you had from the works inside your computer casing.
And also uses a LOT less electricity than most air-cooling systems that employ tons of oversized fans.
Did I mention that liquid cooling is a LOT QUIETER?
More importantly, there's nothing to rupture since a liquid cooling rig eliminates the need for fans and vibration of the case. No vibration=No damaged or degraded tubing or piping.
Also, liquid is far less likely to damage your system in the long run VS vibration combined with high temperatures inside the case because air flow doesn't always account for obstructions like big graphics cards. Or dust-fire.... Had one. ONE. That was enough for me, thanks.
Throw me a note if you're interested in me commissioning you :3
What would you most like me to commission you for, do you think? Might as well do something -you'd- enjoy as well :D
Are you on the run or something?
anyway let's see if this will be the time i can get prof Lu in your style lol
enjoy the pool and the new den
