Well, I've been thinking of doing a LOT of things with Radar, aka Dr. Nefar. And I really need to get off my butt and stop slacking with a number of things here, and start using my fa page as for more than just looking up artwork. I need to post a lot of the things I got at AC and send copies to the artists. What stinks is I can't remember the names of some of the artists.
There will be a few with icontrain:'s lovely Lady Liberty *loooooooves her*. And a few with some other chars that belong to my good friend.
First off, I need to get to writing, but it's kinda hard to when you get lazy when you get home from work and end up rping all night till you go to bed, or surfing the net. And you can't really write at work because you gotta read a stupid script over and over again to people who don't want to give money to a moron and his retarded political organization.
But the main thing is, my mind's still churning with ideas. I've decided to spoil a secret, but I've thought of a huge couple what ifs. What if Radar, who's pretty much promised Gloria Summers (Lady Liberty) he'd never take a life again, ended up taking a life, even if it was an accident. How greatly would he break down? Would he just crash, bury himself into his work, or maybe run away from everything?
A few of the ideas that popped into my head as conclusions to the event would be:
1. he buries himself into his work, taking apart his inventions to go over them and find out what went wrong. A possible event that could happen is he's so distraught, he screws up and a flash or explosion temporarily renders him blind.
2. he has to reevaluate himself and his life. It's a thought that's been weighing on him in the back of his mind for a long while, but he now has to deal with the thought. Should he stay with Gloria? With all the enemies he has and how murderous they are, his primary concern is her safety, and he feels that he's a magnet that brings danger into her life. If there's one thing he'd hate to happen, is for Gloria to be critically injured or killed. It's his desire to protect her that makes him start to greatly question how dangerous being in her life can be.
3. This idea stems off from the last one. This one runs similar, but with significant differences. He stays with Gloria, but he decides to go away for a while. He basically leaves to take care of the problems that have plagued him, to eradicate the worst of them once and for all. He makes sure to leave Gloria a letter informing him that he has to leave for a while, to make everything right. He would appologize to her in the letter, and say that he truly wishes there was another way, but he has to become a true villian for once, and he doesn't want her to be punished for his actions. This would lead to possibly the darkest path for him, the time when some of the full potential of the side of him known as Dr. Nefar comes out. This would be the first time he becomes a real threat and attacks a military base, but with just cause.
What do you guys think?

At first he buries himself in work then he starts to reevaluate himself and what he's doing and his way of thinking.
But after a while, when he makes up in his mind that he must make changes after realizing what she was so angry about and what she was saying about "Making a Deal with the Devil". He writes a letter to her that states for her's and her friends' safety.
He must leave and deal with this situation ALONE and tone of the letter will stress that she and the others do not come after him to try and rescue him and to not even alert his first wife for this is something Gloria would do.
It will break Gloria's heart and will put a severe strain on their relationship. Thus opening the door for her mother
to try and take advantage and make Gloria forget Dr.Nefar.
This is just a suggestion.
You know, now that I think about it, this could lead into their relationship getting stronger when he returns and possible hints at them maybe taking their relationship to the next level in the future, showing that their love is strong.
I also agree with TRAIN that perhaps there is a way to combine all three ideas together in one story. Radar is a very complex character, but so is Gloria Summers.
However you decide to write it, Radar, it WILL be worth reading! I look forward to the complete story (or stories).
Thing is, he's been trying to reform himself, and even promised LL that he'd never take a life again. Last thing he wants it to be lost in the rage he was trapped in before and become a mindless killing machine or diabolical madman. He's actually close enough to the edge of being a true villian that he's got plans for attacking the white house or even taking over military bases.
Glad luck, man
