It's been half a year since I last posted. I've been in Louisville, KY for six months. During that time, I've not really made a whole lot of friends due to my reluctance to hang out with people when I don't have money.

I have sort of gotten a job though. I do volunteer work at an office where I assist with research. It's pretty neat, and I learn a lot; most importantly, I'm discovering skills I didn't know I had and refining ones I'm familiar with. This should in theory make for a much better resume.

My music-making has been pretty fantastic. I've written a few awesome songs, learned to play several other awesome songs, and I'm really considering getting involved in some open mike nights. Oh, but the pickup and cable outlet on my electric-acoustic guitar fell into the body of my guitar leaving me in quite a predicament...
