Hello there! Welcome to the Orca Clan! I am your admin and group owner, DarkTaggr. You may call me Tag or Tags if you prefer. I've been in the fandom since 2007, although I've been an anthro and animal fan for most, if not all, of my life. I've been a fursona hopper for a long time, but by making this group, I hope to anchor myself to this current fursona. This is not the only reason I've made this group, however. I've recently rediscovered a strong connection to the orca, as it was a main feature in many of my dreams as a child. I suppose my desire to find the perfect fursona made me blind to the fact that it might have already made itself known to me.

I'm somewhat new to the fandom, but right away I knew I wanted my fursona to be an orca. I picked an orca because they're such incredible animals. They're so intelligent and emotional, and despite being an experienced hunter, still forms strong relationships with others.
I also want to study marine biology later so I figured a sea animal fursona would be the best option.
I chose my fursona to be an orca because of their strength, their cunning and their undenyable beauty.
I've always had a soft-spot for cetacean anthros... but I only slowly began to think of my sona as one. Now she's intermittently a Bovigryph and an Orca, so I'm sorta 'in the door-frame'. Though I more strongly identify as an Orca now. I always liked the look, black-white and smooth. Also I thought the idea would translate well into anthro with the high concentration of body fat and muscle.
Regardless, I could easily consider myself a part of this group. See ya folks! ^v^
Well... I'm not much of a "fursona" kind of guy... however, I'm elaborating an alternate afterlife/heaven where a soul "materializes", turning into a hybrid between animals and human (fursonas. Yeah). I'm interested in anthros/fursonas, for short...
My favorite animal is the best friend of man, the dog... But it's been a while since I started to grow a strange passion for Orcas.
I mean, they are the apex predators of the seas (man excluded, doesn't count -.-), they have a bizarre, alien-looking yet wonderful black/white pattern scheme, they're huge... ok, I might go on for eternity lol
And one of the characters of a bizarre story I'm currently working on (it starts from a woman x man shoujo... but then degenerates into a bizarre, visually-erotic story) is a plump Orca-girl.
Her name is Carlotta (and is in my current profile pic)
