I didn't get home until 10:30 PM... ON MY DAY OFF!
The next time my boss says he needs me on monday, I'll say FUCK OFF.
today was a long, drawn-out nightmare with an impossibly short deadline on THE WORST system I have ever seen...
It was an XP Home system, loaded to the core with rootkits, viruses, trojans, browser hijacks and assorted malware... with group policies blocking me out of everything (It's XP HOME, It's not even supposed to HAVE group policies, and of course, it won't let you edit them), a windows update that insisted it was Vista, even after reinstalling the updater service from the ground up, hence attempting to update only gave you an annoying message saying you need to use the Vista updater tool from the start menu. And did I mention the guy was a jackass who insisted he was entitled to have me perform this miracle in one day?
If I hear one word about it not being perfect when I go in to work at 7 am tomorrow, I'm telling him exactly where to shove it.

I don't have a boss since I have no work and still at college....but I hope mine is not too terrible....although I have heard some frightening thoughts of some boss who is.... a pain in the ass
But I'll tell you from experience. It's better to have asshole customers than asshole managers.
