Laptop!! :D

Weeeeeeeeee!! I hope I'll be getting my first laptop probably by November or December because then I can finally get some writing done without being haggled or getting my big ol' desktop taken away <3
So I'm not entirely sure if I should get a Mac or just a regular laptop...
Even though a Mac is good for not collecting Viruses and spywares much, but it's a computer that doesn't really have much to go on with programs...
I'll just stick to good ol' PCs then <3
So...yeah! It would be my lifelong awaited laptop! <3
I'll be using it SO often, I'll replace batteries on it to keep it from turning off! >:D (probably would melt the motherboard and everything on the inside though xD)

That way I can MSN anyone I want! <3
If you're wanting to write stories, that's one thing. However, if you're after the graphical architecture for doing art, go with Mac. The processing power needed to run Leopard is FAR lower than that of Vista, and what's better is that Photoshop CS4 cracks are available now, and work amazingly well on OSX. The new Macbooks and Macbook pros will also probably outlive you if you take care of them. With a solid-aluminum body and LED backlit display, it's light-weight, cool-running, and nigh-indestructable.
I'm getting a 9x12 Wacom Intuos3 in a few days, and plan on using my iMac as a medium for drawing with CS4.
P.S. Yes, there is a large library of games available for Mac, which includes just about any big title you can name off that was released within the last 3 years. If links are needed, I'll supply them.
I have been using Macs in classes for a while and they ARE good...
But they tend to be VERY expensive o.=.O
The new Macbook and Macbook Pro lineup offer more power than the previous generation, and are $700 more affordable now. If you're looking for a bargain, I recommend ebay.
Also, I though I might add that I am trying to sell my iMac G5. It's a PowerMac, so it's not as new as the current lineup, but it does a damn fine job.
