hey all

Managed to get a G4 Rarity and a Rainbow Dash for super cheap, so I'm offering up two "name your species/character" commissions for the low-low price of £20 each. This includes a custom sculpted tail and head-piece to cover the hair rooting holes/stubble, as I don't have the synthetic hair in stock for mane re rooting. Sculpting will be done with apoxie sculpt, repainting with acrylic miniature paints and the model will receive a coat of gloss varnish to seal it and prevent chipping. The head should not be turned on the finished pony as the paint and varnish locks it in place and attempting to turn it will likely mess up the paint job

What would be suitable? Just about any bird or feathery-winged critter especially those with crests or manes, most mammals, most mammalian characters (lion king etc), plenty of other critters. Custom hair sculpts for original characters which do NOT closely resemble ponies from the TV show

What is NOT suitable? Custom hair sculpts to match the show, or similar to the show for original characters. There are already folks out there who make amazing modular resin hair pieces for your ponies and I cannot match them in quality of accuracy, so don't ask me to try. Super complex characters which would require complete resculpts (stormtroopers, Master Chief, Alien, fully clothed human characters, mermaid tails, anything requiring leg or neck lengthening), I can do these but not for £20.

These are the standard "brushable" G4 ponies standing around 3" at the top of the head. Postage will be extra and at cost, they're pretty small and light so it shouldn't be more than a couple of pounds in the UK and a few more overseas.

Prefer a G3 or G1? I'll be getting some bait eventually for these but I don't have any currently. Rather have a G4 Earth Pony base? That I can do no problem. For blindbags, see separate price list here

If you're interested, reply in the comments with either the name of a species/character or a link to reference art. Not first come first served, if enough people are interested I'll pick the ones I think I can do a good job on and which will work in my portfolio. For named species and characters I'll use my judgement to come up with a good design that works with the simple shapes of the pony but is still recognisable. For OCs with art, I'll do my best to follow the concept drawing (just remember the caveats about show-like hair)
