fursuit and home update
Without jinxing ourselves, things are looking okay for Ticky and I. Although we really need to look into getting out as soon as we can, unfortunately our current finances are wrecked (primarily due to my mother :|) and we need to take what we can get, even if what we can get is a toxic living environment. It's relatively cheap, and we can afford it for the most part. Hopefully, we'll be getting back in line soon because...
I GOT A BETTER JOB!! :D I'm now working as a full time bank teller, and my company so far has been fantastic. I'm so happy to start this next step towards an actual career for a company who has beliefs I actually stand behind. This particular bank is HUGE on anti-discrimination, high up on the HRC companies to work for (with a CEI of 100), is a Fortune 200 company plus one of the 5 largest banks and is steadily growing. So I feel very good about this new step in my life. :) Ticky's job is not being (as much) of a dick with her hours, but that can always change... But it'll at least get us a bit ahead while it lasts.
Ticky and I are working steadily to get a schedule down for our fursuit studio work, and with my new job and work schedule things are slowly falling into line. Hopefully, we will get the website and FA page updated over the weekend, amid all of our other work. Anyone who wants to volunteer to be a shop assistant to help get some stuff sorted, let me know! The job pays in home cooked dinner, haha. (<-- disclaimer: the previous two sentences are made in attempts at humor.) I'm such a schedule-oriented cat... once everything is in line, I will be a very happy kitty!
So with that... I really need to go to bed. I wish you all the best, and I hope that things are well for every one of your fluffy (or feathery or scaley) butts.
Goodnight and good wishes!

Nope! :3 If you're really curious as to which bank, I'll pm you or something. I'm not super comfortable posting exactly which bank is my employer. Color me paranoid, but we've been doing a LOT of safety and security work this week haha.

Aww, don't stress too much *hugs* They all have to put their employees through a lot of security training. I swear, CYA is one of the most commonly used abbreviations in a bank. Banks have to be a bit paranoid for them to be properly safe. Best bit of advice I ever got from a supervisor: You can trust your coworkers with your stuff or even your life, but never trust anyone with your money. It's very true, as there will be some point that someone will be like.. "Hey, can you do this for me?" or "Oh hey, you need to go to the bathroom? Here, I'll run your box while you're gone." .... NOPE!

(I just presumed TD Bank as they were one of the top 10 places to work for LGBT equality, and they sponsored chunks of pride parades all along the East Coast aka their footprint.)

We were told CYA so many times during training. XD Thanks for the kind words. *hugs* Once I get in the branch, I'm sure I'll be less paranoid. I just need to see how everything runs, I hope.
