My dad's mom died when I was something like eight. My dad's dad died before I was old enough to know him, but he himself did see me when I was a tot. We have the 8mm movie footage to prove it.
Co-incidentally, I'm sitting here, living in the home we had built first for my grandma as she declined, sipping Dr.Pepper out of one of the 40th Anniversary glasses that was a gift to my grandparents upon that event.
