Being known VS. Being famous.

Wanting to be known is different from wanting to be famous.
When you want to be known, you're going for acknowledgement.
When you want to be famous, you're going for praise, which in my opinion leads to an inflated ego, which is unappealing.
To me, it doesn't matter if you buy what I make or not, or if you like it or not. I'm not a musician for those reasons. I'm only here to reach out to you, and show you what comes from my heart. Taking the time to listen to my work is enough for me.

I want to hear someone say that I played something that reminded them of something. I want to make them feel like I evoked something out of them.
If I'm going to be known, I want to be known as someone who made a difference in their life positively.
But sadly I feel that one should be praised for doing something one likes.
It can't hurt to get just a little praise could it?
I'm not gonna lie; if I had an option that would give me fame, I would take it. However, my long term goal is to be able to simply support myself doing what I love.
The pressure that comes with it is not something a hard worker would want, even for someone like me, I like a challenge, but fame is an entirely different story.
