Yesterday, my mother-in-law insisted on a trip into Union Gap (the neighbouring town) to go shoe shopping. She dragged me along because she was afraid to ride the bus alone. That's fine. I got Orange Julius and bought a few games. Not fine? House inspection was today. Even less fine? After we got home, I came down with a case of hyperthermia. I was nauseous, headache-y, and felt like I was burning up. So, no cleaning for the rest of the day. Also, our vacuum has been broken for weeks. Now, I did do the best I could the days leading up to Monday...but since I seem to be destined to fail at literally everything I try, that's pretty much a guarantee we're screwed. Was counting on that Jackie said she'd have her caregiver do some final cleaning up this morning. Only...that apparently meant "Barely touch a few things with a rag" and getting bathroom cleaner on my dishes (this is exactly why I hide the cleaners from them >_<). Oh, and just in case I had any false hope of borrowing a vacuum from the neighbor, doing some last-minute scrubbing, getting it a little better in here? He came pretty much as soon as Jackie and her caregiver were gone. All he really said was to introduce himself and thank me for my time...but I saw the way he was looking around. I know he noticed how much Jackie's trashed this place (the same as she trashes every place she lives in). So I just know we're going to get evicted...and there's no way I can find any place to go. Oh god...oh god...my life is fucking over...

At least I got to see the girls one last time yesterday...
