Storm hit my close friends and fave game store hard. (help)
My favorite retro game store and my close personal friends are in some trouble. We just had a rather big storm and allot of water leaked into their ceiling and did allot of damage. What's worse is that their rental management company "Elm Grove" is refusing to do any repairs in a reasonable time frame (they say it's going to be like 2 weeks!!!!).
These guys have 2 kids, these guys are the same guys who asked to take us to the wholesale outlet in town to make sure we could have enough to eat. They constantly give us deals even if we try to say no! He gave his gift card his wife gave him for his birthday to the single mother who comes in and barely has money to get her kids 1 game. These guys care about people!
They are offering some creative prizes and I'm sure any amount is greatly appreciated. Even being closed for one day hurts them so much. This business is how they pay their bills and feed their family!
Thank you to anyone who does donate, even if you don't I suggest following their FaceBook and watching for when they go to cons and dropping in if you happen to be in NH.
And please spread the word! These guys really are worth keeping in business.
