We are proud to announce Dark Natasha as one of our Guests of Honour for Confurgence 2014.

Working mostly with mixed media, her drawings and paintings are extremely detailed. Her particular style of layering produces a multidimensional effect to the extent that the eyes of her subjects seem to come alive.

Dark Natasha is most recognized for painting animal and bird life with anthropomorphic overtones. At first glance a wolf portrait is simply that but look closer there is a feather braided into the mane and an amulet hangs around its neck.

While she works primarily with down-to-earth wildlife in captivating detail, she brings a weight and presence even to fantasy creatures, ranging from dragons to werewolves.

Dark Natasha is one of the most iconic artists in the furry fandom, lending an eye for detail and a realism that has enchanted the international community and enticed collectors in over twenty countries over four continents.
